Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Consolidate Invoice Extension in Magento

Step 1: Access the Invoice Tab in the Backend

  • Log in to your Magento admin panel.
  • Navigate to the Sales section on the left-hand menu.
  • Click on Invoices to open the invoice management page.

Step 2: Choose the Invoices to Merge

  • In the invoice management page, you will see a list or grid of all your generated invoices.
  • Select the checkboxes next to the invoices you wish to consolidate. You can choose as many as needed.

Step 3: Use the Bulk Action to Consolidate Invoices

  • Once you have selected the invoices, look for the Actions dropdown menu, typically located at the top of the invoice list.
  • Click on Actions and then choose Consolidate Invoices from the dropdown options.

Step 4: Select Parameters for the Consolidated Invoice

  • A new window or page will appear, prompting you to select specific parameters that should be included in the consolidated invoice.
  • Choose the necessary details such as:
    • Billing and Shipping Address: Decide which address should appear on the consolidated invoice.
    • Currency: Ensure the currency is consistent across all invoices.
    • Shipping Method: Select the appropriate shipping method for the consolidated invoice.
    • Payment Method: Choose the payment method that will be reflected in the consolidated invoice.

Step 5: Save and Generate the Consolidated Invoice

  • After configuring the necessary parameters, click on the Save or Generate button.
  • The system will process your request and create a new consolidated invoice that includes all the selected invoices.

Step 6: View the Generated Consolidated Invoices

  • Once the invoice is generated, it will be available for review.
  • You can access all consolidated invoices by navigating to a separate grid or section within the Invoices tab, specifically designated for consolidated invoices.
  • From this grid, you can review, download, or manage your consolidated invoices as needed.
