Single Sign On (SSO)

Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication process. It allows a user to access multiple applications with one login credentials. With SSO, a user logs in once and gains access to different applications. There is no need to re-enter login credentials for each application. 

The SSO module allows the customers to use their existing credentials for logging into various third-party applications. It also allowed you to log in to the Magento store simultaneously. 

Note: To integrate the Magento store with any third-party application, you must have a third-party application account.

How Does The Extension Work?

LDAP Configuration 

To use the SSO extension, the user needs to configure the Magento LDAP server first. Create an organization on the LDAP. The organization will use it in configuration. 

Initial Configuration

The admin will configure the module first with LDAP configuration. Enter all required details and enable the extension. 

Create and Manage Integrations

The admin can edit the existing integrations. Also, the admin can create multiple integrations. After providing the name, URL, and email, this will generate the automated client credentials (consumer id and consumer secret key) required for the integration. 

Third-Party Configuration 

The admin will provide the Store Name, Consumer ID, and Consumer Secret Key. After the successful integration, the user will see an option of “Continue with Magento User” while logging in to the integrated app.
