Back to topUsing this module, customers can subscribe and unsubscribe from the price drop alert for any product. To subscribe to the price drop alert the customer can enter their email address and subscribe to the price drop alert.
So, whenever the admin will lower the price of the product, subscribed customers will be notified about the price drop of the product via email. The admin can manage the price drop alert log and the subscription email templates.

There is a vast competition in e-commerce nowadays. Most of the e-commerce giants run daily discounts and drop the price of the products to gain the customers. It becomes difficult for the customers to keep checking the price of the product on the different websites continuously.
Who doesn’t know one product is available at multiple websites and each website may have an offer and different discounts on that same product? With the help of a price drop alert extension, the customer can subscribe to price drop alerts for the product. So, whenever the product price is dropped, the customers will be notified immediately via email.

How Does It Work?
After the successful installation of the module, the admin can configure the module from the admin panel easily. The admin can enable or disable the module from the admin panel in the configuration setting of the Price Drop Alert module.
Manage Price Drop Alerts
The admin can manage price drop alert and decide on which product the price drop alert should be applicable i.e. Visible on all products or Select manually. To enable price drop alert on selected products, the admin will have to enable price drop alert on each product page from the admin panel.
Select Price Drop Alert Email Template
Now, the admin can select the email template that will be used to notify the customer when the price of the product will be dropped. Furthermore, the admin can also decide the templates that will be used for the subscription and unsubscription email.
Price Drop Alert Log
The admin can view the list of all the users who have subscribed to the price drop alert for the products. The admin can use the filter to find subscribers from the list, see the subscribed product, email Id of the subscriber, price of the product, subscription date, and status of the subscription as well. Furthermore, the admin can also change the status of the subscription.
Enable Price Drop Alert Manually
The admin can also enable the price drop alert for the individual product. The admin can enable the price drop alert for the individual product manually from the product page in the admin panel.
Create Price Drop Alert Template
By navigating to Email Templates from the Marketing menu in the admin panel, the admin can add a new template or edit the existing one too. The admin can create the template in HTML and in Plain-Text too. The admin can click on the preview button to view the preview of the created template. The admin can create the template for the price drop alert, price drop subscription alert, and price drop unsubscription alert and then load the template. Moreover, the admin can enter the template name, template subject, insert the value, edit the template content, and template style too.
Customer End
Customers can subscribe to the price drop alert from the product page. The customer can go to the product page and enter their email Id to subscribe to the price drop alert for that particular product.
Now, when the admin will change the price of the product and if the price of the product will be lower than the subscribed price, the customer will receive an email. Customers can also view the complete list of the products they have subscribed to. And if a subscribed user does not want to receive the price drop alert emails, they can unsubscribe it also.
