How Does The Extension Works?
Module Configuration
After installing the module, the admin will get the option to upload attachments to the products to showcase more information related to the products.
General Settings
In the general setting, the admin needs to set the FTP path for the file uploading and select the desired file types.
Display Settings
The admin enables/disable the module in the display settings and select the specific group of customers that can preview the attachment. Configure to show the name of the alias instead of the name of the attachment. The admin may set the maximum number of attachments to display in the product summary and set the title or color of the block for attachments.
Manage Product Attachment
After the dashboard has configured the module, the admin must configure the product attachments further the admin can manage the existing products and can add multiple new attachments for products.
Manage Attachment Icon
The admin can also manage the current attachment icons and add a new attachment icon. The icon on the front end shows the file format to the system when the file is uploaded. It informs customers what sort of file they're going to download. The admin can add the new icon or edit the existing icon.
Upload & Attach Files
The admin can only add attachments from the grid to the product and can add a new attachment file to the system by browsing it, then select the appropriate attachment and assign it to that product.
Upload from Product Page
This is the standard method in which the admin can upload files from the product edit sheet and restrict their access to particular customer groups.
Frontend Workflow
The customer can easily find the product attachment overview and the product attachment section on the product page. The customer can see the attachment information by clicking on the option Details.
