Overview
Back to topNote: This is an add-on to the Multi Vendor Marketplace. So, you must have installed it first before making use of this extension.
Order Edit Marketplace Add-on allows the vendors to add and edit customer orders for their products. The admin can allow sellers to edit or add a new order on behalf of customers. The sellers can add/edit any order only for existing customers.
Business Value
Improve customer satisfaction and boost business with the ability to edit or create orders on behalf of your customers by vendors.
This extension allows vendors to easily change orders, such as adding or removing products, updating the shipping address, or changing the shipping method. This can help resolve customer issues quickly and easily, increasing satisfaction and reducing return requests.
In addition, the ability to edit orders can also help to boost business. For example, if a customer requests to add additional products to an order, the seller can fulfill the request without creating a new order. This can save on shipping and packaging costs, and it can also help to improve customer loyalty.
Features

How does this extension Work?
Store Admin Workflow
After installing the extension, the Magento 2 store admin will make the initial configuration settings.
Initial Configuration Settings
To make the initial configuration settings, the admin will -
- Enable order edit feature for the marketplace vendors.
- Enable place new order feature for the vendors so that they can place an order on behalf of the customer under their account panel.
Lastly, save the configuration settings.
Vendor Workflow
Vendors will log in to their account panel and navigate to their orders history section.
Create New Order
To create a new order on behalf of the customer, tap the Create New Order button.
Note: While creating an order at the seller’s end only those customers will be visible to the seller who has already placed an order for the seller’s product in the past.
Now, the vendor will choose the respective customer for whom the vendor wants to create the order. After that, for the respective customer, tap the Place Order link.
After that, the vendor will select the products to add to the order and add their quantity as well. Thereafter, the vendor proceeds with the next steps to enter the billing and shipping address of the customer.
Lastly, the vendor needs to select the payment and shipping methods and tap the Place Order button to place the order on behalf of the customer.
Edit Orders
The vendors can select an order to edit. On the order edit page, the vendor can see the EDit Order button available. Tap that, to edit the order as required.
The vendor for the order can edit the product quantity of an existing product or can add new products. Apart from that, a vendor can make changes in the billing or shipping address and can modify the shipping and payment methods as well.
Lastly, the vendor can save the changes to the order as required.
