How does the extension work?

Flutterwave Credentials Required

The store owner needs key store credentials for Flutterwave payment gateway integration with the Magento 2 marketplace. To get the credentials admin needs to log in Flutterwave website and create a merchant account. So they will get the credentials for the integration.

Admin Extension Configuration

Once the Flutterwave merchant credentials are received, need to enter them on the Magento 2 Marketplace and configure the Flutterwave payment gateways to the Magento 2 Marketplace.

Seller Flutterwave Integration

Seller will also integrate the Flutterwave payment method on their website. They need to enter the country and then enter their bank details to configure the method.

Customer Checkout With Flutterwave

Once the configuration is completed users will find the option on the checkout page. When they select the Flutterwave payment method it will redirect them to the Flutterwave website to complete the payment.

Customer will enter their card details, phone number, and email ID to complete the purchase. Once place the order with the verified OTP received on their phone and email. Hence, the order will be placed for the customer.

Refund Initiation

After order compilation admin and seller both can create the credit memo of the order from their panel and initiate the refund for the Flutterwave order.

Order Summary

The admin can check the order history with all statuses like completed, processing, refund, closed, etc on their Magento 2 dashboard.

Security & PCI Compliance-

The Fultterwave extension fully complies with PCI-DSS so the customer data will be fully secured with the extension. Upon checkout, customers will be redirected to the Flutterwave website.

The customer will enter their payment information directly into our secure environment. So it will prevent direct contact of customers' payment data with the webshop.

Once the customer completes the payment process, they will be redirected back to the Magento 2 store. No customer data is required to enter or store on the Magento server.
