TAT Driven Orders Marketplace add-on helps sellers follow time limits (TAT) when accepting orders. Sellers must accept orders within the set time, or the order will be canceled automatically.

Admins can set different time limits for each seller in the marketplace. If a seller doesn't accept an order on time, admin can accept it for them. The order is automatically accepted when the seller creates an invoice or shipment. Sellers can't accept orders unless admin sets a time limit for them.

This Adobe Commerce extension uses cron jobs to cancel orders after the time limit ends, so sellers can’t accept them after that. This feature improves order handling and ensures seamless marketplace operations in the Magento 2 store.

How Does Marketplace TAT Driven Orders Work?

Setting Time Limits for Sellers

Admin sets a time limit (TAT) for each seller to accept orders. If a seller doesn’t accept an order in time, it gets automatically canceled. Admin can accept the order manually if the seller doesn't.

Invoice/Shipment Based Acceptance

When a seller creates an invoice or shipment for an order, it is accepted automatically, speeding up the process.

Order Cancellation After TAT Expires

Once the time limit expires, the order is canceled automatically, and the seller can no longer accept it. Admin can still act on it if needed.

Admin Can Step In

If the seller doesn’t accept the order on time, admin can accept it to prevent delays for the customer.
