How Does Magento 2 IndexNow Integration Work?
Admin Configuration
From the Adobe Commerce admin panel, go to: Stores > Configuration > Webkul > IndexNow
Here, Admin can:
- Turn the module on or off.
- Add and change the IndexNow API Key (must be 8–128 characters).
- Pick which types of content (Products, Categories, CMS Pages) will send updates automatically when changed.
Indexed URL Management
From the backend:
- Go to IndexNow > Indexed URLs
- See the list of links sent, the reply messages, and time sent.
- Use “Resubmit” for links that didn’t work.
- Use “Add New URL” to send a page by hand (must be from the same domain).
Customer Side
There is nothing shown to customers. This module works in the background and helps with SEO by helping search engines find updates faster.
