Configuration
Once the Google Map Pin Address extension is successfully installed, the next step involves configuring the module. Within the configuration settings, the admin gains the ability to enable or disable the module. Additionally, the admin is required to input the Google Map API key, along with defining the default latitude and longitude coordinates.
User End Workflow
- During the checkout process on the front end, this module becomes active, displaying Google Maps for address insertion.
Please note that even guest users can access the Google Maps feature to insert their addresses during the checkout process.
- The billing address can be easily updated by the customer by simply dropping a pin on Google Maps to indicate their new address.
Note: If the customer is inserting the address manually by himself, then he needs to insert Country, State, and Pincode to locate the map for his address correctly.
