Overview
Back to topCustomers can use the City Zone Area Based Delivery module to see if a product is deliverable to their location or not. The admin will assign the cities to the product while editing or creating them. Meanwhile, the module's benefit is that the buyer can verify the product's deliverability right on the category and product page. They are not required to navigate to each product and type a postcode for each of them. Further, the admin has the leverage to assign the cities based on their zip codes to the products from the product edit page. Moreover, that product will be deliverable to all the cities assigned to the product by the admin.
Business Value
Essentially, customers will receive delivery based on their location, which will vary depending on the product. Some goods are available for delivery within the specified postcode, while others are not. The customer enters or selects the zip code where he or she wants the item shipped and can double-check the information on the category and product pages. The best thing about this local delivery service is that the customer is not requested to provide their postcode for each and every product in order to determine whether it is deliverable or not.
Features List
- The admin can create a city with their zip codes.
- The admin can create a custom region.
- The admin can also edit the regions and city details.
- The customer will be able to place orders for products that are deliverable in their location.
- Customers can check the product is deliverable on the category and product page easily.

- The admin can import regions and cities by uploading a CSV file.
How Does The Extension Works?
Manage Regions
From the backend, the admin can see a list of regions with a grid mentioning Country, Region Name and Action. Every Region has a specific ID. The admin can also import bulk data using a CSV file.
Manage Cities
The admin can see the list of created cities. The grids of the list will include the Country, Region, Postcode, City, and Action. The admin can also import bulk data using a CSV file.
Assign Zip Codes to Products
Here, the admin can assign the zipcode to the particular product where the item is deliverable. Also, the admin can assign mass cities to multiple products from the product list.
Select Address To Check Product Availability
Customers may use their zip code to see if an item is available for delivery in their region. Guest customers can check manually whether the product is deliverable on their zip code or not. Login customers have an edge, as they can check manually as well as from saved zip codes whether the product is deliverable or not on the selected zip code.
Not Deliverable Error Message
If a product is not deliverable for the customer’s zip code, the customer will get a message on the product page, shopping cart page, and checkout page.
