How Does It Work?

Initial Configuration

• After installation, go to Stores > Configuration > Webkul > Advanced Import Export
• Enable the module and set up FTP, SFTP, or REST API connection details if needed.

Create an Import or Export Job

• To start a job, go to System > Data Transfer > Import or System > Data Transfer > Export
• Select the entity type, such as Orders, Invoices, Credit Memos, or CMS Pages/Blocks.
• Choose the import behavior: Add/Update, Replace, or Delete.
• Select the import source: File Upload, FTP, SFTP, or REST API.

Validate and Run

• Click Check Data in the top-right corner to validate the file.
• Review the checked rows, checked entities, invalid rows, and total errors shown in the Validation Results.
• Once validation passes, the Import button appears. Click it to start the import.
• After the job finishes, the Status screen shows the number of records Created, Updated, and Deleted.

Schedule Recurring Jobs

• To automate repeat tasks, go to Advanced Import Export > Scheduled Jobs
• Click Add New Job and choose the Job Type, Entity Type, and Source Type.
• Set the Frequency: Manual Only, Run Once at Specific Time, Every Minute, Hourly, Twice Daily, Daily, Weekly, or Custom Cron Expression.
• Enter a Notification Email to get alerted when the job completes.
• Click Save Job. The job then runs automatically based on the selected frequency.

Track Job Results

• To review past jobs, go to Advanced Import Export > Run History
• Check the Status, File/Source, Created, Updated, Skipped, Failed, Total Rows, Duration, Started By, and Started At columns for each job.
