Back to topNote - This module is an add-on of Webkul's Marketplace Module. To use this module, you must have purchased and installed Multi Vendor Marketplace first.
Split Order Marketplace Add-on will convert an order into separate seller orders IDs for the customers. After adding multiple products from different sellers to the shopping cart, customers can select their preferred shipping method and make the payment. Upon finishing the checkout process, different order IDs will be created automatically. The customers can view separate order IDs from their My Orders section. The order will be divided into distinct order IDs according to the number of sellers. Split order helps in better management of the orders for both sellers and the customers.
Use Case:
The main purpose of this module is to manage and organize orders efficiently. Since separate order IDs will be created for different sellers, the customers and the sellers will be able to view separate order information for different products. The sellers can generate separate invoices and shipments for different order IDs for the customers. Also, the process of refund, return, replace becomes simpler to manage for both the customers and the sellers.

WorkFlow:
The workflow of a split order module is very simple. Once the module has been enabled by the admin, the customers can add different seller products in the cart. After selecting the preferred shipping and payment methods and placing the order successfully, the customers will see different orders IDs generated. The customers can view the detailed information about the separate order IDs created from the My Orders section. Every seller will get the separate order IDs from the customer. The sellers can then initiate shipping and raise the invoices separately.
Benefits:
- Seller Benefits - With the help of split order marketplace add-on, the sellers will receive separate order IDs for their own products from the customer. It will create less confusion and better management of the orders for the sellers. They'll be able to generate separate invoices for their own specific orders received.
- User Benefits - As customers will be receiving separate order IDs for every seller, they'll be able to view order status separately for different products. Having the separate order IDs for different sellers will also benefit the customers at the time of refund, return or replace.
- Admin Benefits - With the help of separate seller order IDs, the admin will be able to manage all the orders more efficiently. The admin can create separate shipments and invoices for different seller orders from the back-end.
