Note: This extension is a Marketplace Add-On, so you must purchase and install Multi Vendor Marketplace extension first. With this feature, vendors (sellers) can include additional files or documents with their orders. 

Order Attachment Marketplace Add-on makes it easier for vendors and customers to talk to each other and handle orders more smoothly. Vendors can attach papers like bills, receipts, delivery confirmations, or product details to give customers useful information.

In short, multi vendor order attachments make it easier for vendors and customers to work together and enhance the shopping experience.

 

Business Value

Let’s take a scenario and imagine a situation where the customer needs to share the prescription with the admin. 

The customer can attach the prescription details from the checkout page or after placing the order. The customer can add attachment files or images in multiple formats, such as jpg, jpeg, zip, PDF, SVG, and png.

When the customer attaches the file the vendor or the admin can view the doc and reply to the doc accordingly, in case the doc is rejected the customer can add a new doc for the same.

How Does Multi Vendor Order Attachments Work?

Initial Configuration

After installation, the admin is required to perform the following action-

  • Set enabled and update the max file upload limit. 
  • Mention the extensions supported. 
  • Enabled the expiry and set the number of days for expiry.
  • Attach notification to seller/vendor as yes/no then save the configuration. 

 

Enable Attachment for Product 

The admin can enable the attachment for the products by choosing yes or no. It can add for the existing product as well. 

 

Order Grid Attachment Column

Here admin can view the attachment files under the order attachments. Set the expiry date and view the comment if needed. 

 

Status of Attachment 

After adding the attachment the admin can add the status of the them as approve, disapprove or delete. 

 

Pending Order Attachment

In this section, the admin can view the pending order attachments from the order attachments options in the admin panel. 

 

Customer End 

The customer can attach the files at the checkout page if the admin has enabled the feature from th backend. Also, the customer can add the file after placing the order in the my order section.

 

Seller End

Seller can view the order placed by the customer either with or without the attachment. The seller can check the pending order and approve or disapprove the attached files.
