Overview
Back to topGST Marketplace Addon a Goods and Services Tax (GST) based system will allow your e-commerce stores to comply with Indian Taxation Laws. The integration of GST on the Magento 2 store can help retailers dynamically add the tax at the time of checkout.
The GST Tax Marketplace enables store administrators to configure the Indian GST framework within the Magento 2 Store. It facilitates the automatic adjustment of all tax-related activities by the updated GST regulations.
Adobe Commerce marketplace owner and sellers can apply the tax rates on each product. They can set the GST rate on the discounted products and the admin can upload the GST file in CSV format to add GST rate in all products. The GST will apply to the shopping cart.
The customer will have transparency about the applied GST rate as they can view it at the time of checkout, in the order details, and on invoices.
Business Value
As we know the GST is a universal tax system that will remove the other subsequent taxes on the product.
The GST implementation will allow online merchants to set up business in the Indian market. The e-commerce store operating in India requires the customer to pay GST.
Magento 2 Multi Vendor GST Tax facilitates admin and seller to set up the Indian GST structure in the eCommerce Store for the automatic alignment of all tax adjustments as per the new GST standards.
Tax alignment as defined in the configuration will automatically take place based on the production state of admin or seller and the delivery state of the buyer.
Updating GST manually in the e-commerce marketplace can be quite challenging.
Therefore, the GST India Marketplace Add-On enables both admin and sellers to conveniently upload a CSV file containing the GST rates for all products and services.
Note - This module is an add-on to Webkul's Magento 2 Marketplace Module. To use this module, you must have purchased and installed Multi Vendor Marketplace first.

Workflow
Select Production State
The owner of the marketplace, along with the sellers, provides the GSTIN number that the merchant obtains during the business registration process, or at the state of production from which the customer will receive the ordered items.
This information is essential for determining the applicability of SGST, CGST, or IGST.
Per Product GST Calculation
Admin and the seller of the marketplace can do the settings to apply GST on products.
They need to add tax class as ‘Taxable Goods’, GST rate in percentage, and the HSN code.
Mass Update GST Rates
The admin and the seller both can upload GST details in the form of CSV.
Here, they can mention the product ID, GST rate in percentage, and the HSN code.
Setting Billing Address
The customer must set the billing address as the Indian address type to see the breakdown of the GST.
GST Invoice
The customer can view the GST on the cart page, in order details, and in the invoice PDF.
In the case of a transaction occurring within the same state, both CGST and SGST will be applicable. However, if it is across states IGST is applicable.
