Daily Deals Marketplace Add-On allows the marketplace sellers/vendors to add a daily deal feature to their products. It sets a time-specific deal to the particular products, and the deal gets visible on their respective product pages. The products to which the deal is applied are listed on an entirely separate page that displays all of the current running deal products.
Business Value
Daily Deals Marketplace Add-on provides the functionality of adding deals to the products over a specific period. This functionality is beneficial for the promotion of the products. Primarily during the festival season, the website owner and sellers can provide various kinds of deals to their customers. And for sure this kind of deal promotion will increase the sales conversions as well as store traffic.
Daily Deals Marketplace Add-On is useful for both sellers and customers as it attracts more customers to a deal product compared to the normal product. The daily deals are a way to bring in more traffic to your store, which in return will generate more sales. By making a fixed amount or a percentage off on the total price of the product, the customers will be tempted to buy your product at a discounted price.

How Does The Extension Work?
Seller Workflow
After the successful installation of the daily deals marketplace add-on, the admin first has to enable the extension by navigating to the module back end configuration settings. After enabling the daily deal feature for the web store, the marketplace sellers can easily add the daily deals to their products so as to quickly sell the surplus inventory at hand. The sellers, under their account panel, have the Daily Deals menu option with 2 sub-menu options - Add Deal on Product and Deal Product list.
To add a daily deal to a product, the seller has to navigate to the sub-menu option - “ Daily Deal ->Add Deal On Product ”. This brings up the seller’s product list that displays all of the seller’s products. Here, the seller can also search for a product to add the deal to it. For each of the products listed under this section, each has an Action column displaying the link - Add Deal. The seller can tap this “ Add Deal ” link for the respective product and this brings up the section to add the deal.
To add a deal, the seller has to enable the deal status, choose the applicable discount type as fixed or percentage, set the deal value according to the store currency, set the deal from and to values. Lastly, tap the save deal button to save the daily deal for the respective product.
Deal Product List
To view all the products to which the daily deals have applied, the seller has to navigate to the sub-menu option - “ Daily Deal->Deal Product list ”. Under this section, the seller can find all of the products to which the daily deal is applied. Here, the seller can check the product pages of the deal products, their deal price, their start & end date, and can also tap the Edit Deal link to edit the deals.
Admin Workflow
The store admin will also be able to add deals to his products by navigating to the edit page of his product or to a new product. After that, the admin has to navigate to the section Daily Deals. Here, the admin will - enable the status of the deal, choose the discount type as fixed or percentage, select the deal start and end dates, and the deal value. After that, save the product and the product will be applied with the daily deal asset. The admin can also check the products to which the daily deals are applied by checking the column Deals Status under the Products page. The admin needs to enable the deal status from the column configuration option.
Customer Workflow
Customers can navigate to the daily deals collection page by tapping the Daily Deal link within the footer of the website. Or by tapping the Deal Collection link from any of the daily deal products. This navigates the customers to the deal collection page where all the products with daily deals are visible. The customers can find the deals and accordingly can move further to grab the limited deals with great discounts.
