Affiliate System Marketplace Add on

This extension is an add-on to Webkul’s Multi Vendor Marketplace, so you must have first purchased and installed Webkul’s Multi Vendor Marketplace extension.

This add-on allows the store owner to set up an affiliate marketing strategy for his eCommerce marketplace store. The add-on provides rich opportunities for affiliate marketing. The sellers will be able to create customized text banners, text ads, automatic product banners, and links for their products. 

The sellers can approve/disapprove the affiliate request and can set commission category-wise, the commission is according to pay-per-click, pay unique click, fixed or percentage rate commission type for the affiliate users. The seller can pay commissions to its affiliate users using the different available payment methods.

A user can become an affiliate by registering on the marketplace and can request the sellers to advertise the seller’s products on its website. The Detailed statistical information such as - track record list, sales record list, payment record list, and monthly, and yearly graphs can be viewed by the affiliate.

How does this extension Work?

After successfully installing the add-on, the admin can configure the affiliate system marketplace add-on to be used with the marketplace website.

Admin End Flow

The admin needs to perform some general configurations like enabling the add-on for use, automatically approving the affiliates after registration, adding the minimum payout balance for the month, and day of payment to the affiliate, and adding the email notification template for sellers or admin, etc.

The admin will also assign the payment methods to be used to provide the commission to the affiliates. Also managing the affiliate commission rates like for pay per click, per unique click, will set the commission type like fixed or percentage.

The admin will also add the affiliate program terms which will be visible to the affiliates while registering after they click on the Affiliate Terms link before creating an affiliate customer account which is mandatory for the affiliate to accept before registering to the website.

Seller End

From here the seller will Manage Affiliate menu option that has multiple options like.

Affiliate Request

The seller receives the request from the affiliate users to promote & publish the seller’s product on their website. The seller can approve or disapprove of the request from here.

Setting Up Commission Rates

The seller can easily set up the commission rates as per clicks, and unique clicks, set a commission type, and commission rate. The seller can also set commission category-wise.

Create/ Update Banners

The seller can create banners & text ads that an affiliate can assign for publishing the product ad on the website.

Payment Transactional Details

The seller can view the payment method selections made by the affiliate user, the selected payment method details will be visible to the seller. The seller will enter the transaction Id for the transaction made & the amount paid.

Register As An Affiliate

The affiliate user can easily register themselves on the marketplace website by clicking on a tab which on the next screen will open up a registration page.

The affiliate user just needs to fill in the required details & with a single click can create an affiliate account.

Affiliate Account Panel 

Provide the affiliate users to get access to multiple sellers & the ability to choose the right seller by analyzing the best commission rates & the products to publish in the form of an advertisement on their website. 

Insight into Sellers Conditions

From the panel, an affiliate can view the summary of the approved sellers like the – Seller Name, Seller Email, Click, Unique Click, Total Sale, Sale Commission, Received, and Balance amount. 

Custom Banners & Ads

An affiliate can easily view the banners & ads of the seller which can be product ads & text ads.

The affiliate user will be able to make use of the banners simply by copying the HTML code and pasting it onto a website where the affiliate wants to display the ads, before using the code the user can also take a preview of the same to take a look at what the ad would look like on the website.

Tracking & Analyzing Performance

The affiliate can also keep a mark on the traffic received to the ads and can look at the total sales & payment information of getting the commission with a selected payment method.

Gauge the performance for the traffic on their website where an ad is posted on a daily & monthly basis with the help of an analytical graph.

Email Campaign

An affiliate can promote the seller’s products through emails. By sending emails to their website customers or their relatives or friends.

Enter multiple email Ids at a time, enter an attractive subject & a description to the message body, add various product links to the email & send it to the customers.

Requesting Seller 

An affiliate can request the sellers of the marketplace to publish/promote the products over the blog link i.e. on the affiliate user website, where the user wants to post the ads & banners for marketing.

Payment Preferences

An affiliate user can choose the payment method by which he/she wants to get the payment i.e. the commissions received by them on the successful purchase of the seller’s products.

The preferences can be set amongst PayPal, Bank Transfer, or Check/Money order. After selecting a payment method the affiliate user can set up the details for the respective method.

Marketplace Affiliate Management

The admin can easily manage the affiliates from this section present on the admin panel.

Here, under this section, the admin can approve or unapproved the affiliate users, can inform the affiliate regarding essential updates & other things by sending them an email, can keep a record of the traffic caused by the affiliate on the marketplace website.

The admin can track the total sales that have been made by the referred customers from the affiliate website, can analyze the payment records & can even gauge the traffic caused on a daily, weekly & monthly basis.
