How Does the AI Chatbot extension work?
Admin Workflow
After installing the AI chatbot extension, the admin has to navigate to the configuration section,
Now, the admin has to configure the following sections,
General Settings
- Enable or disable.
- Input the ChromaDB endpoint URL.
- Button to delete ChromaDB Collection.
Chatbot Configuration
- Input the Server endpoint URL.
- Enter the API Key.
- Upload a chatbot profile image.
- Input the name of the chatbot.
Frontend Chat Window Option
The admin can modify the theme and appearance of the chatbot. Like, the Chat window - text color, background color, customer text color, etc.
Chat Reports
Customers can also send queries straight to the admin using the AI Chatbot window.
They just need to type in the subject and their message, then click on the Submit report.
After that, the admin can view these chat reports in the admin backend.
Chat History
Admin can see all the details of the chat history between customers and the chatbot.
Manage FAQ
The admin can quickly add FAQs for the chatbot from the backend. When a customer asks a question that matches one of those FAQs, the answer is shown to them.
Add CMS Pages to Chatbot
The admin has the ability to connect CMS pages to the chatbot whenever needed. To do this for a specific CMS page, just edit it and turn on the sync to chatbot option.
