The customers can make use of their credit/debit cards or select the instalments option at the checkout time using the Iyzico payment gateway for making the payment for products they are going to purchase.
Note:
- This Identity Number is a Turkish Identification Number used as a unique personal identification number that is assigned to every citizen of Turkey.
- Non-Turkish users will enter the passport number instead of the Turkish Identification Number.
- The currencies supported are - TL, Turkish Lira; EUR, Euro; USD, US Dollar; GBP, British Pound; IRR, Iranian Rial; NOK, Norwegian Krone; RUB, Russian Ruble; CHF Swiss Franc.
Account & Pricing
There is no initial registration fee or periodic fees you have to pay for using Iyzico. Account creation for the customer and the merchants are free of cost.
- A separate account is required and is not created while installing the extension itself.

Use Case
Making use of a payment gateway that’s proficient in processing online transactions surely works as a booster to enhance store traffic. And being a domestic payment gateway, the customers surely will prefer to make the payments using the same payment gateway as it seems to be more trustworthy and reliable. The customers can easily use their credit/debit cards or use instalments for making the purchase over the online webstore. The admin can easily process the refunds and that too without any issues. Basically, this extension allows quick management of the payments for each of the orders placed using the Iyzico payment gateway. Thus using this extension, the admin of the webstore can set up his store with the Iyzico Payment gateway for receiving the payments.
Security and PCI Compliance
All the data is collected by the Iyzico is transmitted and stored in compliance with complete security. It works in accordance with the security standards as adopted by the industry.
PCI DSS Level 1 Compliant infrastructure ensures the security of the payment data and all connections where personal data is transmitted are protected with encryption.
The PCI DSS (data security standards) is a structure designed to protect the card and card holder’s details. With the help of such a security structure, there is a reduction of risk, eliminate trust vulnerability, and protect cardholder information.
The customer data that includes the card details are sent over to Iyzico (Iyzico handles personal information) from the checkout page itself. Also, tokenization (for security) is used to send the data over to Iyzico Payment Gateway. No customer data gets stored on the Magento servers.
The customer can choose to select the 3D secure option by checking it first. It redirects the customer to another page where they have to enter the code that is sent over their registered mobile number to complete the payment.

Workflow
Post successful installation, the admin will enable the extension, set the title that is visible to the customers, choose an environment type - sandbox or live, enter the API Key and Secret keys, choose the allowed instalments that the customers can apply for.
Apart from that, the admin will select the countries to allow receiving the payments from, and lastly, set the sort order of the payment gateway.
Now, this will display and allow the customers to select the payment gateway at the time of checkout. The customers will have to enter and save their identity number in the first place by navigating to their Account Information section.
This Identity Number is Turkish Identification Number, which is as a unique personal identification number which gets assigned to every citizen of Turkey. Non-Turkish users will have to enter their passport number instead of their Turkish Identification Number.
At the checkout page, the customers can see a responsive screen wherein the customers will enter their card details for making the payment using the Iyzico payment gateway.
The customers can pay either by making a single complete payment or can pay in Installments for their purchase as required. The customer will select the Installment plan from the list as per the choice.
This Installment option allows the customers to pay in easy monthly instalments. The instalments will be only visible for selection when the store currency is in Turkish currency, and a domestic Turkish card gets used.
Finally, the customer clicks on the Place Order button to complete the order and will receive a success message of placed order. Kindly note that if the customer has not saved his Identity Number, then the customer needs to enter the same at the checkout page before making the payment.
The admin will also be able to check the Identity Number of the customer from the admin backend by navigating to All Customer and select the customer from the list to view the Identity Number of the particular customer.
The admin can also make a refund for the order for which the Iyzico Payment gateway gets used. The admin will navigate to the particular order and generate the credit memo by clicking the Refund button. The Refunded order is viewed in the Iyzico account of the admin by navigating to the Transaction section.
