How Does The Extension Work?
DoorDash API Credentials
- After the installation, the admin must input API credentials to integrate with DoorDash.
- The admin needs to create or log in to their DoorDash account to generate the required credentials.
- For seamless integration, the admin should provide a developer ID, choose an environment, provide a signing secret, and specify a key ID.
Fee Configuration
- The admin can customize the delivery fee mode, delivery fee, and tipping for DoorDash drivers.
- When it comes to the delivery fee, the admin can opt for three modes. Charging a fixed rate to customers, offering no charge to customers (with the shop covering the cost), or passing on the quoted DoorDash rate to customers.
- If the admin selects the fixed rate option, they can set the specific rate.
- Also, the admin can configure the tipping settings for DoorDash drivers.
Pickup Configuration
- The admin has the ability to set up pickup scheduling, order lead time, and specify pickup instructions.
- For pickup options, the admin can choose between two types: ASAP pickup or scheduled pickup.
- The admin can also define the number of minutes needed to prepare an order before a DoorDasher is expected to arrive.
- Also, the admin can provide specific pickup instructions as needed.
