We have incorporated the Twilio SMS API to send various SMS notifications automatically to customers at the time of order placing, invoice creation, booking reminder, and order cancellation.

Advanced Booking Reservation SMS Notification automatically sends various SMS notifications regarding the placed order to the customers to keep them informed about their respective booking orders.

How does this extension Work?

Store Admin Workflow

Initial Configuration

After the successful installation of the extension, the admin will enter the Authentication ID, Token, and Twilio Phone number. Apart from that, the admin will configure when the SMS notifications should be sent for the Booking reminder days and minutes before the event. 

The admin will also set the message content for the SMS messages that will be sent for the various events  -  

• Reminder days before.
• Reminder message minutes before.
• Invoice create. 
• Order Create.
• Order Cancel.
• Default message(Used if the message is not entered while sending the custom order notification).

Send Bulk Custom SMS Notifications For Booking Orders

The admin can also choose to send custom SMS notifications to the customers as required for their booking orders. The admin will select the booking orders in bulk and choose the send notification option. 

After that, the admin will enter the custom notification message to send to the customers for their orders. Tap the Send Notification button to send the respective custom SMS notification.

If the admin does not enter the SMS message content, the default content is sent to the customers added in the initial configuration.

Receive SMS Notifications

The customers will get the SMS notifications when - 

• The customer places an order. 
• After the invoice generation for the order.
• After the booking is cancelled by the admin. 
• Minutes before the booking event(reminder SMS notification).
• Days before the booking event(reminder SMS notification).
• The admin sends a custom SMS notification with the customer's SMS message.
