Overview

The Omnisend Connector for Magento 2 by VDCstore seamlessly links your Magento store with Omnisend — an omnichannel marketing automation platform — so you can turn your store data into powerful email, SMS, and push-notification campaigns. This extension flows your customers, orders, carts, and products from Magento directly into Omnisend — enabling personalized marketing, automated workflows, and re-engagement strategies without manual imports or data handling

With this connector, merchants get real-time data sync between their store and Omnisend, making it easier to send targeted campaigns, recover abandoned carts, segment customers based on purchase behavior, and drive repeat sales — all from a unified marketing automation dashboard.

Account & Pricing

  • No separate account is required beyond your existing Omnisend subscription.
  • There are no extra fees for using the Omnisend Connector for Magento 2 beyond the extension’s purchase price.
  • For installation help, configuration or any billing support, contact VDCstore directly.

Key Features

  • Full Data Sync (Customers, Orders, Carts, Products): Automatically sync all relevant store data to Omnisend whenever it changes — no manual exports/imports needed.
  • Abandoned Cart Recovery Enabled: Trigger automated emails or SMS to shoppers who leave without completing checkout, helping reclaim lost sales.
  • Dynamic Segmentation & Personalized Campaigns: Use real purchase history and customer behavior to build segmented lists in Omnisend — ideal for VIP offers, browsed-but-not-purchased followups, or targeted promotions.
  • Email, SMS & Push Notification Support: Leverage Omnisend’s multi-channel communication — reach customers via email, SMS or push for maximum engagement.
  • Easy Setup & Magento Native Integration: Install and configure directly in Magento; once enabled, everything syncs automatically — curated for Magento 2 stores.

Installation & Configuration

  1. Download the extension and place it in the Magento code directory (e.g. /app/code/vdcstore/OmnisendConnector).
  2. Run Magento commands to upgrade and compile (e.g. php bin/magento setup:upgrade, setup:di:compile, static-content:deploy, then clear cache).
  3. Go to Magento Admin → Stores → Configuration → VDCstore → Omnisend Connector Settings.
  4. Enter your Omnisend credentials, enable sync, and choose which data to push (customers, orders, carts, products).
  5. Optionally, configure web-hooks or real-time sync to push data automatically whenever there’s a new order or customer signup.
