The GLS Pickup Locator Pro module adds the delivery method ”GLS Pick-up Point” to your checkout, offering your customers the option to conveniently choose a collection point for their parcel that best suits their needs, ensuring a smooth and flexible checkout experience. The list of collection points is dynamically displayed based on proximity to the entered delivery address, offering a convenient and personalized experience. The closest pickup location is chosen by default.
The module supports all countries covered by the GLS Global API, as well as the Denmark API.
With the GLS Pickup Point method, the recipient will receive timely notifications via email or SMS when their parcel is ready for collection at the selected GLS Service Point. Both the sender and the recipient can track the journey of the parcel through the GLS Track and Trace feature.
The Pro version of the module is compatible with both Amasty onestep checkout, Hyvä Checkout and Firecheckout.
Exclusive to the Pro version of the module, you can add attributes to products that are too big to be send to a pickup location. When these products are found in the cart the pickup location method will be hidden in the checkout. This will save your time and avoid disappointed customers.
Module Includes
The GLS Pickup Locator Lite module includes all the GLS Pickup points supported by the GLS API. The module shows and records the following service point data:
- Title
- Street
- Postcode
- City
- Opening Hours
Features
GLS Service Point shipping method:
Give your customers a convenient option to choose a Service Point that best suits them. The Global API also supports enabling customers to choose from Lockers, Shopinshop and Keeper.
Pickup location search:
The Pickup location search allows customers to input postcode details after selecting the Pickup Locator shipping method.
Admin Panel Order Placement:
Admins can conveniently place Pickup Locator orders directly from the admin panel.
The Location Selector window simplifies the process, ensuring efficient management of orders.
Hide method if products are not compatible with pickup locations

General Module Settings:
Easily configure the shipping method through the admin panel.
Access general module settings, allowing you to add crucial information:
GLS API:
Enter your GLS API Key. Choose to use either Global or Denmark API.
Translations:
Customize translations for a multilingual experience.
Fine-Tune Delivery Methods:
Under delivery methods, you have the flexibility to fine-tune the setup according to your specific requirements.
Enable/Disable Methods:
Activate or deactivate delivery methods based on your business needs.
Set Method Titles:
Add method titles to delivery methods.
Choose Conditions:
Define conditions for calculating delivery prices based on weight or price.
Import Delivery Rates:
Import 1 csv file with all your available countries delivery methods.
Display Configuration:
Configure the number of pickup locations to be displayed in the checkout.
Checkout Compatibility:
This module is compatible with both the Magento 2 standard checkout and third-party checkout solutions that do not replace the native shipping methods section (e.g., Firecheckout). Also, the Pro version includes compatibility packages for Hyvä Checkout and Amasty One Step Checkout. Please refer to the installation guide for more details.
Multi-Carrier Support:
Pickup locator modules exist for other carriers. Each shipping provider has a separate module that can easily be purchased and installed. Supported Shipping providers:
