Overview

The Order Comments Pro extension greatly enhance the shopping experience, allowing customers to add a note, comment, message to their order before and after placing an order.

The order note/comment box will appear at the checkout page under the payment method section, where customers can insert their notes for that particular order. Also, the order note/comment box will appear under the customer account and order edit page in the backend, allowing both customers and store admins to add additional notes/comments to the order.

Both customers and admins are notified by email anytime a new note is added to the order. The Order Comment Pro extension is a great tool to communicate with customers regarding their orders.

Order Comment On Customer Side

The extension enables customers to leave a note of the order during the checkout process and after placing the order. Customers can:
add a note about the order during the checkout process;
read the note added during the checkout on their accounts. A new "Order Notes" tab is added under the order view page (My Account -> My Orders) including all notes added to the order. Customers can add an additional note to each order, and check all notes/comments historical under each order;
get notified on the order grid (recent order and dashboard) about any new notes added by admins. The "New message" appear highlighted in red any time a new note is added to the order. The "No message" appear on the order grid when there is no new note added to the order;
get notified by email on each admin reply.

Order Comment On Admin Side

read all customer's notes left during the checkout from the admin order view page. A new"Order Notes" tab is added under the order edit/view page including all notes added to the order;
add additional notes to the order and check all notes/comments historical under each order;
choose to notify the customer by email on each new note added;
choose to hide each new note at the storefront, under customer account;
edit and delete each note from the admin panel;
define admin email ID to receives all orders notes. Define the sender's email and name;
get notified by email on each new notes added by customers;
