Back to topBy default in Magento 2 backend, it's not possible to uncancel/restore orders from their canceled status. It's not recommended to handle such actions directly from the database.
Magento 2 Restore Cancelled Orders extension adds the ability to uncancel orders from the backend, under the order grid and order view page. You can uncancel one or multiple orders at once from the grid. Also, you can uncancel a single order from the order view page.

Uncancel/Restore Order From The Grid Page
You can uncancel a single order from the grid. Also, you can uncancel several orders at the same time from the grid (bulk uncancel).
The Restore Cancelled Orders extension for Magento 2 adds the "UnCancel Orders(s) by Ulmod" link in the mass action (order grid).
You can select the order(s) to uncancel and click on the "UnCancel Orders(s) by Ulmod" from the mass action. A popup confirmation will display to confirm the action, and when ok, orders will be restored/uncanceled to their previous state/status. A successfully uncancel message will display.
Uncancel/Restore Order From View Page
You can uncancel a single order from the order view page. Magento 2 Restore Cancelled Orders extension adds an "UnCancel Order (By Ulmod)" link in the order view page when the order has a cancelled status.
When you click on the "UnCancel Order (By Ulmod)" link, a popup will display to confirm the action, and when ok, the order will be uncanceled/restored to his previous state/status. A successfully uncancel message will display.
