Back to topThe Order Split By Qty extension provides a powerful solution for merchants needing to manage complex orders with multiple products in a streamlined way. This extension allows admin users to split a single order into multiple suborders based on the quantity of products in the order. By doing so, store owners can easily manage shipping, stock, and fulfillment processes for each suborder independently, improving operational efficiency and providing a better customer experience. It also helps store owners gain full control over their order fulfillment process, enabling smarter, more efficient operations. Whether you are dealing with large orders, varying product quantities, or multi-location shipping, this plugin is the perfect solution for managing complex orders effortlessly.
Key Features
- Split Orders by Quantity:
Admin users can split an order into suborders, with each suborder representing a unique quantity of products. This is especially useful for stores with varying product types or complex fulfillment requirements. - Conditional Split Button:
The "Split Order" button only appears when specific conditions are met, ensuring that it’s only used in the right context:- The extension is enabled.
- The order contains multiple quantities (greater than 1).
- The order status is part of the configured list of statuses.
- The admin role has the necessary permissions to perform the split.
- Interactive Split Popup:
Once the "Split Order" button is clicked, a popup will display all product quantities in the order. Each product quantity is represented by a row, and the admin can assign them to separate suborders. This allows for complete flexibility and control over the order splitting process. - Automatic Suborder Creation:
Once the order is split, the plugin automatically creates suborders, cancels the original order, and references the suborders in the order history. Shipping and discounts are automatically adjusted across the suborders for accurate processing. - Customizable Configuration:
The plugin offers easy-to-use configuration options within the admin panel. Store owners can enable or disable the extension, customize the button title, and define which order statuses will trigger the "Split Order" button. - Log Files for Troubleshooting:
The extension maintains a log file that captures all events related to order splitting, making it easy for admins to troubleshoot and monitor the plugin’s functionality.
Why Choose Order Split By Qty?
- Efficient Order Management:
Streamline your order fulfillment process by splitting large orders into smaller suborders, making it easier to manage shipping, inventory, and customer satisfaction. - Flexible and Easy to Use:
The extension is designed with ease of use in mind. The "Split Order" button only appears when appropriate, and the popup interface is intuitive, allowing admins to manage suborders with just a few clicks. - Improved Shipping & Stock Management:
Splitting orders helps you better manage inventory and shipping operations, especially when dealing with backordered items, different product sizes, or multi-location fulfillment. - Customizable Workflow:
The configuration settings allow you to tailor the extension’s behavior to fit your store’s needs. Choose when and where the "Split Order" button will appear, and configure how the split orders should behave post-split.
