Overview

Lattice by To Go Green™ connects your Adobe Commerce or Magento Open Source store to the hosted Lattice dashboard, where you can track every order, customer, product, and returnable packaging in one place. The module is built for retailers who want to reduce single-use packaging waste, cut costs, and give customers a clear, branded reusable packaging option without manual tracking. All data stays synced automatically, and there is nothing to self-host.

Features

  • Automatic order sync — every order processed by your store is forwarded to Lattice in real time, so reusable-packaging checkouts are tracked the moment they happen.
  • Customer sync — new and updated customer records flow into Lattice automatically, powering packaging accountability and return reminders.
  • Product sync — catalog updates stay in sync, keeping your Magento products mapped to your reusable packaging inventory.
  • Full packaging lifecycle tracking — follow every packaging from checkout through return, cleaning, and restocking, including overdue and lost packaging.
  • Automated return reminders — scheduled notifications keep customers accountable and help you recover reusables without manual follow-up.
  • Multi-location inventory — track packaging stock across storefronts, wash hubs, and warehouses from one dashboard.
  • Customer packaging activity — see which customers hold packaging, what's overdue, and what's been returned.
  • Zero infrastructure — the module is a standard Magento 2 extension; all processing happens in the hosted Lattice dashboard. Nothing to self-host or maintain.
  • Signed, secure webhooks — every event is signed with a per-integration HMAC-SHA256 secret generated in the Lattice dashboard, so events are verifiably from your store.
  • Five-minute setup — connect from the Lattice dashboard, paste the generated credentials into your Magento config, save, and clear cache.
  • Broad compatibility — works with Adobe Commerce 2.4+ (on-premises and Cloud PaaS) and Magento Open Source 2.4+.

Who is this for

This extension is for Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source merchants who want to offer returnable packaging, track inventory and returns automatically, understand which customers and products drive packaging activity, and reduce the operational overhead of running a reuse program. Compatible with Adobe Commerce 2.4 and later on-premises and on Cloud PaaS, and Magento Open Source 2.4 and later. Not compatible with Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service (SaaS), which requires the App Builder integration path.

What you can track

  • Orders with reusable packaging, including customer and item details
  • Customer packaging activity, including packaging out, overdue, lost, and returned
  • Products mapped to your reusable packaging inventory
  • The entire packaging lifecycle, from checkout through return, cleaning, and restocking
  • Locations that handle packaging, such as stores, wash hubs, and warehouses
  • Staff members and permissions related to your Lattice account

How it works

The module installs as a standard Magento 2 module and listens for native Magento events. It forwards them to the hosted To Go Green Lattice service over signed webhooks. No middleware is required on your side.

Setup

  1. Install the module via Composer from the Marketplace, or copy it into app/code/ToGoGreen/Lattice for testing.
  2. In Magento, go to Stores → Configuration → Sales → Lattice by To Go Green.
  3. In the Lattice dashboard, select the Magento or Adobe Commerce integration, enter your store URL, and click Connect.
  4. Copy the generated API Base, Webhook Token, and Webhook Secret into the Magento configuration.
  5. Save and clear the cache.

Benefits

  • Reduce packaging loss with automated tracking of your reusables to keep customers accountable
  • Track every packaging provided, including customer details, deposits, due dates, and more
  • Automate return and overdue notifications to reduce manual labor
  • Centralize orders, customers, products, packaging, and returns in one dashboard
  • No backend infrastructure to host or maintain

Security

  • HMAC-SHA256 signed webhooks
  • Per-integration token and secret
  • Credentials generated and managed inside the Lattice dashboard

Requirements

  • Adobe Commerce 2.4 and later on-premises or on Cloud PaaS
  • Magento Open Source 2.4 and later
  • PHP 8.1 or higher
  • A Lattice by To Go Green account
