Overview
Back to topAlthough emails are a common way to inform customers about order updates and other important communication, SMS notifications have emerged as a fastest communication channel for eCommerce stores to instantly update customers about their orders. According to Twilio, 9 out of 10 text messages are read within the first three minutes of being sent.
By utilizing Twilio SMS notifications, merchants can send automated order update notifications to their customers. With this extension, merchants can configure SMS templates for each order event, such as order placement, shipping, invoicing, or cancellation. In addition, this extension offers a flag dropdown with country codes on the storefront, making it easy to capture the correct phone number of the customer.
Are you looking for other SMS gateway integrations? We can integrate your preferred SMS gateway with the same features. Simply drop us a message with your details by contacting our support.
