Teleship Global Shipping

Teleship® is a global cross-border shipping and compliance platform that helps merchants sell internationally with confidence. Teleship enables brands to calculate and collect import duties and taxes at checkout from international customers, generate compliant customs documentation, and deliver orders faster to customers in main international markets (35+ countries), while reducing customs holds, failed deliveries, and unexpected costs.

Teleship Global Shipping integrates Teleship directly into your Adobe Commerce (Magento) store to automate international shipping, duties, taxes, and compliance. Once installed, the extension dynamically returns international shipping rates, import duties, and taxes in checkout; itemized and shown separately from shipping costs; based on each product’s classification and destination. After purchase, merchants can generate shipping labels, customs documents, and tracking information directly from the Magento admin, providing a seamless experience for both merchants and their international customers.

Account & Pricing

• Account Requirements: a Teleship® account is required to use this extension. The account can be created during the installation process of the extension.
• Extension Cost: The Teleship Global Shipping extension is free, allowing you to calculate and classify your products, collect import duties and taxes directly in your check-out at no costs (Fair use policy: the free checkout calculation of duties and taxes requires you to ship with Teleship® shipping).
• Shipping Service Fees:  Shipping services, import duties, and taxes are charged when purchasing a shipping label from Teleship®. On-demand payments are processed securely through Stripe. Service pricing depends on destination, delivery speed, and shipment volume. Pricing for on-demand shipping can be viewed on the Teleship website. For large shippers (over 100 international parcels per day), customized pricing and payment terms are available.

Features

• Shipping Rates, Duties & Taxes at Checkout: Display accurate international shipping rates, import duties, and taxes directly in your checkout. Rates are calculated dynamically by destination and product data (country of manufacture and HS/HTS code). Shipping pricing can be configured with fixed fees, free shipping, handling fees, or pass-through of your own shipping costs. This service is free to use when shipping internationally with Teleship®.
• Product Classification: Correct product classification is essential for cross-border shipping. The extension allows merchants to manage HS/HTS codes and countries of origin for products and variants in one place. Built-in AI tools assist with HS code classification, helping ensure correct duty calculation and reducing the risk of customs delays. 
• Automated Customs Documents: Commercial invoices are generated automatically from your Magento order data. Documents are transmitted digitally to customs authorities; no printing or manual paperwork required.
• Buy Labels from Teleship®: Purchase international shipping labels directly from your Magento dashboard using Teleship®. No additional tools are required. The extension can also be used alongside third-party shipping platforms such as ShipStation, MetaPack, or Voila. Teleship provides two types of services:
  • SMBs: Receive prepaid labels to route parcels through Teleship’s network via local drop-off (configured by default).
  • High-Volume Shippers: Inject parcels directly at Teleship® injection hubs with customized rates.
• Compliance Flags & Restrictions: Receive proactive warnings when products require special licenses or are subject to import restrictions in destination markets, ahead of shipping. The extension also flags products with a higher risk of customs inspection, helping you avoid failed deliveries and returns.
• Shipment Tracking & Delivery Estimates: All shipments purchased through Teleship® are fully tracked and include an Estimated Delivery Date. Tracking IDs are automatically added to Magento orders and fulfillment status is updated so customers can follow their shipments via the Teleship®  website. Merchants can also track shipments directly within the extension). 
• Flexible Delivery Speeds: Choose between postal tracked, standard tracked, and expedited tracked delivery options. Note: Postal services currently attract lower import duties for shipments to the United States (at least until March 2026).
