    Synchrony is a PCI compliant solution. Using the Synchrony extension has no effect on a merchant's overall PCI compliance as no confidential cardholder data is ever stored on your server. Synchrony employs the industry's best security practices and tools to maintain online security for merchants and end customers.  Synchrony is considered a PCI level 1 (SAQ-D) Service Provider. Our secure Synchrony extension enables our hosted UNIFI product which runs in a modal over your Magento website. Customer data is entered in the Hosted Synchrony UNIFI application and shared with Magento to complete the order. Tokenization is used to run transactions with Synchrony Capture and Refund API’s.
