Once installed and configured, customers are redirected to Switro’s secure hosted checkout to complete their payment, while merchants manage transactions and wallet connections from their Switro account. 

Account & Pricing 

• A separate Switro merchant account is required to use this extension. 
• The account must be created outside of Magento — merchants need to sign up on Switro’s website. 
• Signing up for a Switro account and using the extension is free. But,  payment processing fees may apply depending on Switro’s pricing.

• All sensitive information, such API credentials, must be entered in the Magento Admin and are stored securely using Magento’s configuration. 

Customer Data Handling

• Tokenization: No traditional credit card tokenization is required as the extension uses blockchain transactions.
• Magento Server: No sensitive customer financial data crosses or is stored on the Magento server. Only transaction IDs and statuses are logged for order management.
• Checkout Flow: All interactions occur via a secure hosted checkout page.
