WeChat Pay is the payment method integrated into WeChat. It allows your customers to complete payment quickly using their smartphones.
The extension integrates the official WeChat Pay HongKong API into Magento2. It enables your customers to make online payments with WeChat Pay HK both on PC and mobile. On mobile, customers select WeChat Pay HK as a payment method, enter the pin code, and complete the payment with the WeChat app. If using a desktop computer, it will generate a QR code for the customers to scan with their smartphones and pay. After WeChat Pay receives the payment, it will send a notification to your Magento store. The order status will auto-change on the backend.

Security
The extension integrates the official WeChat Pay HongKong API that is more secure without transmitting by any 3rd-party agency. On PC, it will generate a QR code for customers to scan with their smartphones to pay. On mobile, customers will enter the pin within the WeChat app using their smartphones. Customers' WeChat Pay accounts and passwords will not be entered or stored on the Magento server. Integration meets PCI- SAQ A-EP compliance.
