Overview

As the name implies, a referral URL page is said when someone clicked a link that led to your site. The Referrer URL Tracking Magento 2 extension developed by Sparsh Technologies will give you an exact idea about from which page/domain on which someone clicked a link that led to your site. Imagine a situation where you are running ads on an ad network or running an affiliate program. The Referrer URL explains what site the link came from. In the end, you will have a clear picture of where your customers are coming from.

To use the extension first you need to enable it from the backend.  Simply login to admin section of Magento 2 and go to Stores -> Configuration -> Sparsh Extensions -> Referrer URL. By further selecting yes in the general setting section you can easily track order referrer URL as well as customer referrer URL. As soon as you are done with this, the system will be able to track whenever someone comes to your store from different website and register as a customer or even better place an order.
