The Nova Poshta Shipping Select2 extension is an addon for the Nova Poshta Shipping module. It replaces the standard HTML dropdowns for city, warehouse, postomat, and street selection at checkout with Select2 - a feature-rich dropdown library that adds live search, keyboard navigation, and a polished UI to every location field. No additional configuration is required after installation.
Account & Pricing
A separate Nova Poshta account IS REQUIRED to use this extension. The account is not created during extension installation and must be set up in advance on the Nova Poshta website. You can register an account on the registration page. Please note, that you don't need to contact Nova Poshta to register an account, however a Ukrainian (+380) mobile phone number is required to pass verification. Once your account is active, generate an API key in your account dashboard under Settings (Налаштування) → Security (Безпека) → Create a key (Створити ключ) or visit the API key page directly. Enter the key in the Magento admin configuration.
The Nova Poshta Shipping Map extension itself is free. However, Nova Poshta charges fees for each shipment processed through their network according to their standard carrier rates. Shipping costs are determined by Nova Poshta based on package dimensions, weight, and destination. Visit the Nova Poshta pricing page for current rate information.
