Overview
Back to topThe extension allows charging different shipping rates based on the customer groups. If the admin can assign a shipping method with higher rates to the not logged-in customers while the registered customers can be allowed the privileges of lower shipping rates by assigning a different shipping method to them! Doing this allows the businesses to nurture the existing loyal customers and prompt new users to upgrade their customer groups. An exciting situation for both scenarios. Which will set a stage for building a long-term relationship with your customers.
The admin can enable the extension and charge shipping rates based on the customer groups. The admin can set the title and method name for the shipping method, set the default shipping cost to charge when a customer group is not assigned any rate, calculate the shipping rates based on per item or per order, also set the shipping rate to charge per customer group, select all or specific countries to allow using the shipping method, and also enable/disable the option to show method even if it is not applicable. Also, customers can see the shipping method and the rate on the cart, checkout page, Order Email & "My Account" section that displays the shipping method.
