PPL Tracking & Privacy HV

PPL Tracking & Privacy HV is a standalone, privacy-first behavioral tracking and consent package built specifically for stores running a Hyvä storefront. It pairs a lightweight, consent-gated browser collector - loaded only through the Hyvä storefront layout handle, with no RequireJS or jQuery dependency - with a complete, theme-independent tracking and privacy backend: admin configuration, consent capture, behavior and query aggregation, scheduled maintenance, server-side purchase and return processing, and data-subject-rights tooling. In short, it gives a Hyvä merchant everything needed to record consent-allowed storefront behavior and meet GDPR/DSGVO obligations from one installable module, without adding a second tracking package or writing a custom storefront adapter. Nothing changes on the storefront itself: there is no customer-facing widget or panel, and the collector runs silently in the background, firing only after consent is granted, while all configuration lives in a new, theme-independent admin area under PPL Hub where you control consent gating, Do-Not-Track handling, query PII redaction, raw-event retention, and export and erasure workflows - so every deployment can be tailored to your privacy policy and jurisdiction. A typical deployment records consent-allowed search, click, and product-interaction events on a Hyvä store, captures server-side purchase and return signals independently of the active theme, and hands the aggregated results to optional PPL consumers while keeping consent, retention, export, and audit duties in one place.

Compatibility

The browser collector is loaded only through the Hyvä layout handle; backend, cron, privacy, aggregation, and server-side event processing are theme-independent. Do not install this package together with `ppl/module-tracking`; Composer declares the packages as conflicting standalone alternatives.
