Back to topPPL Report Search Zero Results helps merchants identify customer searches that returned no products. It adds a focused table report to the PPL Reports admin area using Magento search query data, turning missed search demand into something teams can review.
Zero-result searches are valuable because they can reveal missing products, naming mismatches, synonym opportunities, content gaps, or customer demand that the catalog does not currently serve. The report can also provide a report widget for the Action Widget board when PPL Action Widget is installed.
Why it is useful
Customers often tell a store what they want by searching for it. When those searches return no results, the store may lose a sale or miss a merchandising opportunity.
PPL Report Search Zero Results gives administrators a clear place to review these terms and decide whether to add synonyms, improve product content, adjust catalog coverage, or tune search behavior before more customers hit the same empty result.
Compatibility
PPL Report Search Zero Results is designed for Magento Open Source 2.4 and Adobe Commerce 2.4. It uses PPL Report Core and PPL Hub. It is compatible with PPL Action Widget and can provide a report widget for the Action Widget board when PPL Action Widget is installed.
