Back to topPPL Order Comment adds an optional customer comment field to Magento checkout and makes the submitted comment available on the order in the Magento admin. It is a practical extension for stores that need customers to provide delivery notes, internal handling notes, gift instructions, purchase context, or other order-specific information before placing an order.
The extension keeps the feature focused: collect the comment during checkout, save it safely with the quote and order, and display it for administrators where order processing happens.
Why it is useful
Many stores need a small amount of free-text communication at checkout. Without a dedicated field, customers may use support emails, address fields, or payment notes in inconsistent ways.
PPL Order Comment gives stores a cleaner workflow. The comment is connected to the order, visible to administrators, and configurable without adding a large checkout suite.
Compatibility
PPL Order Comment is designed for Magento Open Source 2.4 and Adobe Commerce 2.4. It uses PPL Hub for configuration navigation.
