Post Manager

The Post Manager module for Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) adds a simple yet powerful blogging and commenting system to your store.
It enables store administrators and customers to create, manage, and moderate posts and comments directly within Magento’s native interface.

Admins gain complete control over visibility, comment permissions, and moderation workflow, while customers can manage their own posts from the storefront.

Core Features

1. Administrator Features

Module Control

• Option to enable or disable the module from the backend configuration panel.
   
• When disabled, all related frontend routes and menus are hidden automatically.
   

Comment Settings Management

• Allow or restrict customers from submitting comments on blog posts.
   
• Configure default comment status:
   
  • Approved – Comments appear immediately on the frontend.
     
  • Pending – Comments require admin approval before display.
     
  • Disapproved – Comments remain hidden until reviewed.
     
• Enable moderation workflow for better content quality control.
   

Post Management

• Create, edit, or delete posts from the Admin Panel.
   
• Manage post details such as:
   
  • Status – Published / Draft
     
  • Title – Post headline
     
  • Description – Short summary or teaser
     
  • Content – Full post body with support for rich text (WYSIWYG editor)
     
• Assign posts to specific customers or manage them on behalf of customers.
   
• Preview posts before publishing.
   

Comment Moderation

• View all comments submitted by customers in a unified grid.
   
• Perform bulk or individual actions:
   
  • Approve / Disapprove
     
  • Set Pending
     
  • Edit or Update Comment Text
     
  • Delete Inappropriate Comments
     
• Filter and search comments by post, status, or author.
   

2. Customer Features

Frontend Post Management

• Customers can create, edit, and delete their own posts via the storefront.
   
• Posts can be saved as drafts or published directly.
   
• Access posts from My Account → My Posts section.
   
• View a complete list of their published posts.
   

Comment Functionality

• Customers can read and submit comments on posts if enabled by admin.
