Overview

Email Log Extension for Magento 2 provides store owners with powerful email tracking, debugging, and email delivery management tools — all from within the Magento Admin Panel. It helps ensure customers receive important order emails, reduces support tickets, and gives administrators full visibility into email activity.

This extension is ideal for stores experiencing email delivery issues, failed custom email templates, or needing audit trails for compliance. With features like resend, forward, whitelist/blacklist filters, and automated log cleanup, merchants can maintain a smooth email communication workflow and quickly resolve issues before they impact customers.

Key Features

  • Track All Sent Emails — Logs all outgoing Magento emails in an admin grid
  • View Email Content — Review message body and metadata for troubleshooting
  • Resend / Forward Emails — Quickly re-deliver transactional communications
  • Automatic Cleanup — Cron job clears old logs based on retention settings
  • Whitelist Email Templates — Allow only approved templates to send emails
  • Blacklist Email Addresses — Block specific recipients from receiving emails
  • Manual Log Management — Delete individual entries when needed
  • Configuration in Admin — Under: Stores → Configuration → PluginPartner → Email Log

Benefits

  • Quickly identify email delivery issues
  • Reduce customer service requests related to missing emails
  • Improve reliability of order, invoice, and shipment communication
  • Maintain compliance with email policies and audit requirements
  • Faster debugging of new or custom email templates

How It Works

  1. Every outgoing Magento email is automatically logged
  2. Admin can view, resend, or forward emails directly from the log grid
  3. Blacklisted addresses are automatically excluded
  4. When whitelist mode is enabled, only selected email templates can send
  5. A cron job periodically deletes older logs based on retention rules

Compatibility

  • Magento Open Source & Adobe Commerce
  • Versions Supported: 2.4.x
  • Compatible with native Magento email sending architecture
