Overview

Module provides additional functionality where customer or admin can login without using password, just by clicking on the link received from the store via email.

Link can be requested:

at the customer login form, just below password field (see photos)
at the checkout login step – when customer email is recognised by store (see photos)
at admin login screen (under admin secured url) - see photos

After providing valid and existing email, link is generated with 256 chars token and sent, which allows customer or admin to login without a password.

Link is valid only for selected time and it is one time use only.

System also have built in security measures to not allow requests sent by same origin IP too many times or for same user/admin.

Also it plays nicely with Magento 2.4 TwoFactorAuth providers so your admin is secure – auth code still must be provided.

Functionality can be easily switched off in the configuration area, separately for Frontend and Backend
