Security
Paystand uses bank-level security to ensure a fully compliant, secure transaction experience for both merchants and customers.
- The Paystand extension uses a secure iFrame modal embedded on the Magento checkout page. This means that payment information is never entered into or processed on the Magento server.
- The payment modal communicates directly with Paystand’s PCI DSS Level I–certified infrastructure via API, ensuring that sensitive payment data (e.g., card numbers, bank account info) is handled securely.
- Customer payment data is not stored or transmitted through Magento servers at any point. This dramatically reduces the compliance burden for merchants.
- This integration qualifies for SAQ A under PCI guidelines, since all payment data entry is handled by the iFrame and not by the merchant’s environment.
- Tokenization is used to store payment credentials securely within Paystand’s system, enabling saved payment methods without exposing sensitive data to Magento.
