Protect your customers against account theft.

The module sends information about events on the customer's account. If the notifications are not the result of the customer's actions, you or your Customers can respond immediately.

When an attempt is made to log in to the customer's account, reset their password or make changes to their address book, an email notification is sent to defined recipients (including the customer) corresponding to the activity.

This gives the user the opportunity to respond to the event, i.e. let Customer Services know that action is being taken to make changes to their account.

Features

With this plugin, you can track selected activities in the following areas:

  • login attempts - Login Page and Checkout Page
    • entering an incorrect email address (the account does not exist)
    • entering an incorrect password
    • attempt to log in to a blocked account
    • successful login
  • password reset attempts
    • form for sending a password reminder request (customer/account/forgot password)
      • entering an incorrect email address (the account does not exist)
      • entering a valid email address (account exists)
    • form for setting a new password using the link received in the email (customer/account/create password)
      • new password set successfully
  • address book changes - My Account and Checkout Page
    • successfully adding a new address or editing an existing shipping or billing address

Settings

Each of these mentioned activities can be configured independently. 

Available options include:

  • enable/disable tracking actions from a specified area
  • enable/disable sending email notifications

 

The Customer Security module allows you to monitor activity in your online store more closely. It allows you to catch unwanted actions and attempts to take over your customers' accounts.
