Overview
Back to topThe administrator of the store may occasionally want to update certain features or add new ones. During the deployment procedure, the store should be offline and should display a default message indicating that it is currently unavailable. To accomplish this, a command to switch off maintenance mode must also be run along with the IPs that the administrator wants to whitelist. Running the instructions and managing the whitelist IPs gets challenging for non-technical people. The store owner (admin) can quickly put the store in maintenance mode and whitelist the IPs he wants to whitelist by using this extension. Also, he has the ability to decide when the store will be closed and to cease the offline state. Moreover, He can also show a configured message on the page that visitors will be visiting during the store offline.
Features
- Admin can put the store under Maintenance Mode by just turning it on without running any command.
- Admin can decide the people for which the store will not be offline by simply just putting their IPs in the whitelist field.
- If the admin is not scheduling the maintenance, his IP will automatically be added to the whitelist list even if he doesn't add it himself.
- Admin can also schedule the timing of offline duration by selecting the start time and end time.
- Admin can change the default Maintenance Mode message by entering his message in the WYSIWYG editor.
