Customers can click on the link given in the email and delete their accounts from the Magento Store. A confirmation mail is sent out to the customer for security purposes.

Sign in as Customer to front end, move to My Account >> Delete Account and tick
for “Delete My Account” and Submit where you can received confirmation email to customer
email for Delete Customer Account.
