Back to topminiOrange Cookie Consent GDPR, DPDP, CCPA Extension for Magento is built for store owners who need a single, dependable solution to manage visitor consent across multiple privacy frameworks. Whether your customers are based in the European Union, the United States, India, or any other region with active data protection regulations, this extension keeps your store aligned with GDPR, CCPA, the ePrivacy Directive, and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act — without the need for custom development effort.
The miniOrange Cookie Consent GDPR, DPDP, CCPA Extension for Magento provides a smart cookie consent mechanism that displays a privacy-compliant banner on a visitor’s first interaction, giving users full control over their data preferences before any tracking or data collection begins. This ensures your Magento store treats visitor privacy as a first priority and delivers the level of transparency that modern shoppers expect.
With automatic third-party script detection, the extension scans your Magento store to identify all scripts actively collecting user data, including analytics tools, advertising pixels, live chat widgets, and social media integrations. This gives store owners complete visibility into all tracking technologies running on their website.
Once the extension finds these scripts, it sorts them into four categories that make sense to a regular shopper: Necessary, Analytics & Performance, Marketing & Advertising, and Functional. Visitors can then accept some categories and reject others, instead of being stuck with an all-or-nothing choice.
The extension also enforces strict consent-based script blocking. All non-essential scripts are automatically blocked from loading until the user explicitly provides consent. This prevents unauthorized data collection and ensures your store remains fully compliant with global privacy standards, including GDPR, CCPA, ePrivacy, and DPDP requirements around user consent and data transparency.
There's also a Cookie Preference Center built into the extension. If a visitor wants more control than just Accept All or Reject All, they can open this panel and toggle each category on or off individually. Necessary cookies stay on (you can't run a website without them), but everything else is up to the visitor. This preference center can be reopened at any time from the storefront, allowing customers to update their consent choices whenever they wish — a key requirement under GDPR and DPDP.
