How Does The Extension Work?
The admin can enable the extension from the backend to set a custom title for the payment method, show Axis bank logo in the frontend, enable sandbox or live mode, add API details, make other payment-related settings and save the configuration.
From the frontend, whenever customers add products to cart and select the Axis Bank Payments via JusPay payment method from the checkout page, they are redirected to the JusPay payment gateway. The customer has to select one of the payment options, enter the card details and click "Make Payment" button to pay and complete the payment.
The Axis bank payment details can also be viewed in the My Account section as well as the order view backend.
Security & PCI Compliance:
Using Axis Bank hosted payment method, whenever customers add products to cart and proceed to checkout, they get redirected to the hosted payment gateway page to select the preferred payment option, enter payment details and complete the payment to place the order. The whole payment process is hosted by the Axis bank Payment Gateway via JusPay, and customers' card details are neither entered nor stored on the Magento 2 server and thus it ensures a secure payment process. The integration meets the SAQ A level of PCI compliance.
