How Does The Extension Work?

The admin needs to enable specific payment methods, enter a custom title, choose to show/hide the PayWay logo, and enable the sandbox mode if required. The admin needs to enter the required API details to connect the PayWay merchant account with the store. The admin can also allow/disallow the auto-invoicing, choose the default order status, select allowed countries, enter additional information, enable or disable the debug mode, and enter the sort order for the payment method.

Once the payment method is configured from the backend and customers choose to make the payment using the WestPac PayWay method, they can complete the payment by entering the card details on a hosted page, on the merchant's website or in an iframe popup on the checkout page. Once the payment is completed, the customers can find complete details about the payment in their My account section, and the store admin can also find the payment details in the backend grid.

The admin can also generate credit memos and process online refunds from the Sales > Order grid in the backend for the orders paid using the Westpac PayWay payment gateway.
