How Does the Extension Work?

The admin needs to enable the wallet extension for Magento 2 and configure the settings. The admin can choose if the admin's approval is required for adding new bank details or new payees. The admin can also configure email notification settings for admin and customers and set the templates for various notifications. The admin can also create custom rules to offer wallet rewards to customers.

Once the extension is configured, the customers can find the 'My Wallet' section in their profile, which contains the balance and transaction history. Here, the customers can add money to their wallets using any of the available payment methods. The money is added to their wallet once the order is invoiced by the admin in the backend.

The customers can also add bank details & withdraw money or transfer it to another customer's account. Customers need to select the wallet payment method to pay for the order using the wallet during checkout. On order placement, the amount is deducted from the wallet.

For the orders placed using wallets, the admin can issue an instant refund and the money is credited back to the customer's wallet.
