Offering customer convenience while staying on the profitable side of the deal can often be challenging for online stores. Additional costs and charges associated with the offerings can cut down the profit margins. Simply adding these additional charges to the product price is not a wise option, as it makes the product look expensive. Therefore, Meetanshi has developed Surcharge Fee for Magento 2 extension that allows store owners to pass these additional charges to the customers while being transparent.

Using the Surcharge for Magento 2 module, the store owners can charge additional fees on orders based on the used payment method, shipping method, customer group, particular product or country, or specific customer group. Hence, allowing the store owners to offer competitive facilities without compromising profits.

Product surcharge: The admin needs to choose the surcharge type and enter the surcharge title. The admin needs to configure the surcharge fees individually for each product through the product edit section.

Country surcharge: The admin needs to choose the applicable countries, select the extra feel calculation type and custom title, enter the surcharge amount, and select the applicable customer groups.

Region surcharge: The admin needs to choose the applicable regions, enter a custom title, select the surcharge calculation type, amount, and select the applicable customer groups.
