Using the extension, you can implement condition-based shipping rates calculation in Magento 2 and charge fair shipping rates. The module lets you create unlimited shipping rates based on different conditions: destination, delivery pin code, order value, product weight, quantity, etc.

  • The admin can download the CSV file of existing shipping table rates.
  • The admin can enable or disable the "Shipping Table Rates" shipping method from the backend and customize its title.
  • The admin can activate the shipping method for all countries or specific countries.
  • The admin can customize the error message displayed to the customers if the shipping method is unavailable.
  • The admin can allow a free shipping rule from the shopping cart price.
  • The admin can choose to ignore the price and quantity of virtual products while calculating shipping table rates in Magento 2.
  • The admin can choose to compare the postcode as a range or a regular expression.
  • The admin can choose to use price after discount, including tax, use only one shipping type for shipping method, and sort the order of the shipping method.
  • The admin can edit the shipping type attribute, customize it, and create new shipping rate options to create different shipping types.

How Does The Extension Work?

The admin can create a new "Shipping Method" from the Shipping Table Rates grid in the backend, enter a custom name, set its status and priority, and choose to sum up or use minimum/maximum shipping table rates in case of multiple shipping types. The admin can select store views and customer groups to apply the shipping table rate rules. The admin can import shipping table rates using a CSV file and choose to delete the current rates while importing. After importing, the admin can view the imported shipping table rates and download its CSV file.

The admin can enable the "Shipping Table Rates" shipping method, customize its title, select applicable countries, and add a custom error message. The admin can choose to allow free shipping promotions, ignore the price & quantity of virtual products, and choose to compare postcodes as range or regular expressions. The admin can choose to use the price after the discount, including/excluding the tax, and choose to use only a single shipping type per shipping method.

The admin can edit the 'shipping_type' product attribute to define the types of shipping and assign the value to it for individual products from the product edit section.

Once configured, the shipping rates are applied to the products on the orders as per the rules and shown to the customers on the cart page, checkout page, and in the "My Orders" section. The admin can also find the details of shipping table rates in Magento 2 backend.
